Just stopped at the Subway in Roswell, New Mexico, for lunch. No flying saucers seen yet. A nice drive through the mountains to get here, and a few high-based thunderstorms have developed nearby. We stopped briefly to watch one on the way here - it popped out a few CGs. Plenty of virga hanging down from these but not much precip appeared to be making it to the ground. I imagine there will be rather gusty winds under these. As I type this I can see the updraught base above the Subway store, so I think I'll eat my sandwich outside and watch for some CGs!
